Correction Log

Last UpdatedJune 24, 2026Source review, owner attribution, and correction-process language were reviewed for transparency.

US Permit Prep keeps this public correction log so readers can see how important content fixes and source-review updates are handled. Minor typo or spacing fixes may not appear here, but source, rule, link, clarity, and policy updates should be logged when they affect user trust.

July 8, 2026 - AdSense value cleanup started

Expanded the article hub, research process, and correction log pages so users and reviewers can better understand the site purpose, article organization, source-review process, and correction workflow. The cleanup kept pages indexable and focused on adding useful context rather than hiding URLs.

July 4, 2026 - Motorcycle source-link QA

Completed a motorcycle silo cross-link and QA pass. Confirmed all motorcycle pages returned 200, were indexable, had sitemap entries, and had working internal links. Replaced official-source links that returned confirmed 404s and republished affected state pages.

July 3, 2026 - Motorcycle state page depth upgrade

Expanded motorcycle state pages with state-specific sections for what to bring, permit restrictions, written test facts, course notes, helmet or gear rules, fees, official resources, FAQs, and internal links to the motorcycle practice test and related state guides.

June 29, 2026 - AdSense readiness crawl

Ran a site crawl for noindex tags, thin pages, sitemap visibility, broken internal links, title and description coverage, and trust-page access. This helped identify pages that needed stronger user-facing explanations and clearer source-review language.

June 24, 2026 - Trust pages and owner attribution

Added public Editorial Team, Research Process, and Correction Log pages. Updated article author language to show Abhishek Chigadani as site owner/author and clarified that permit information is researched from official DMV and state licensing sources, then organized by US Permit Prep.

June 23, 2026 - Document checklist uniqueness review

Improved state document checklist pages so they use state-specific priorities, applicant notes, office/process reminders, and source-review language instead of near-identical template copy.

June 2026 - Sitemap and duplicate URL cleanup

Cleaned sitemap rules, redirected duplicate state URL patterns, kept one main URL per state intent, and excluded old placeholder or duplicate paths from crawler discovery.

How to report a correction

Send the page URL, the issue, and an official source link through the contact page. We review source-based corrections before changing public guidance. Helpful reports include the state name, the exact outdated sentence or broken link, and the official page that shows the current rule.

What gets logged here

We log meaningful changes that affect trust: official source link fixes, state rule clarifications, document requirement updates, fee note corrections, duplicate URL cleanup, indexability fixes, policy-page updates, and major page-structure improvements.

What may not be logged

Small spelling fixes, spacing adjustments, button text polish, CSS alignment fixes, and routine cache or package rebuilds may not appear here unless they affect a user task or change how a page should be interpreted.
